Ecolite has further developed the UB system based on real-world experience. What began as a simple clip for small-format porcelain stoneware tiles is now a fully developed system for virtually all facade materials. With optimized support profiles, Ecolite achieves large grid spacing, which significantly reduces the number of fastening points. The key advantage becomes apparent when combined with the primary system: The bracket position can be determined independently of the tile spacing, which can result in a significant reduction in the number of brackets per square meter.

The UB profile can be installed directly onto concrete, balcony parapets, or wood-frame structures without a primary substructure. For wood-frame structures, Ecolite offers solutions with slotted holes that allow for unrestricted expansion.
