PreFab Solar System
Adhesive-bonded. Heavy-duty. Efficient.
The System PreFab Solar applies the invisible, heavy-duty design principle of System PreFab to framed or frameless photovoltaic modules. For frameless modules, the backrails are linearly bonded using SSG technology, which provides a large bonding surface to absorb wind loads while simultaneously stiffening the module. The module’s own weight is mechanically supported via a load-transfer angle adapted to the glass thickness. For framed modules, the backrails are slotted at the front, threaded through, and mechanically connected to the module frame. Wind loads are thus absorbed not only by the riveted joints themselves but are also transferred across the entire contact surface between the backrail and the frame.
