Challenge
In the Schwamendinger Dreieck development, the glass fibre concrete elements had to be attached to the wooden element walls for three residential buildings. The cost-effective solution was to combine the elements with closed joints.
Solution
A new support profile for the UB system was developed for the object. The black anodised support profile allows two panels to be hung on one profile. In this way, the support apron of the lower panel is hooked in at the bottom and the wind apron of the upper panel is hooked in at the top. With this solution, the assembly effort could be reduced. In addition, thanks to the panel geometry, the number of necessary agraffes per panel could be reduced.
Ecolite Systems in Use
Newly developed UB double support profile, support and wind brackets of the UB system.
