Kloten Milan, Kloten

, a manufacturer of facade materials, glass, and PV modules

Ecolite Systems

Primary substructure:
ECO-HF M/C Horizontal System

Secondary substructure:
KA Solar System

Challenge

The new concrete building combines ceramic tiles bonded to a compact facade with panels of active elements Photovoltaic . Both surfaces are designed to be flush with one another. The thermal performance targets are ambitious, and the available construction depth leaves little room for flexibility.

Solution

Stainless steel spacer screws were used for the panels installed by Photovoltaic due to the compact insulation. A fold-out UK system with painted support profiles is used for the vertically oriented PV modules.

Ecolite Systems in Use

Stainless steel spacer screw, type Eco-HF-M/C, with matching omega profile; KA-Solar system with SSG-bonded backrails.
