The SZ system can be installed with a direct vertical or two-layer primary substructure. In addition to its proven design, the SZ system for Ecolite offers a significantly wider variety of profiles than usual, thereby covering a broader range of applications. In addition to the standard SZ 20 profile, profiles for 15-mm or 30-mm joints are also available, as well as lintel profiles, start profiles, and end profiles. Upon request, a profile with an 85° bend directs water away from the back instead of over the visible side of the cassette. The product line is rounded out by stiffening profiles with integrable connectors and plastic clips to prevent rattling noises.
The vertical support profiles are intentionally designed with thicker walls at the points where the cassettes are screwed to the UK. This increases the tensile strength of the screw connection, resulting in fewer screws per square meter and, consequently, fewer primary profiles being required.
