The Challenge

The residential and school building is to be clad with GFB modules in a wide variety of geometries. The façade elements have a relatively The façade elements are relatively heavy and have different depths, and in many cases do not run parallel to the concrete wall. In the soffits, it must also be guaranteed that the individual modules are secured against possible unhinging.

The Ecolite Solution

An installation-friendly solution was sought for the parapet elements and the window-height area modules, whereby the diagonal alignment of the facade was already formed with the substructure. This solution required an object-specific angle profile. For the soffits, separate unhooking brackets were made, which could be subsequently mounted and rotated in the joints.

The primary substructure consists of aluminum V-brackets, angle profiles and earthquake restraints. The UB system is used as a secondary substructure. The GFB modules are suspended in the supporting profiles by means of factory-fitted anchors and preassembled agraffes of various sizes.
