History

The company founder René Bregenzer has international know-how and has been active in the field of ventilated facades for more than 45 years. He has an excellent network in the industry and has played a key role in shaping countless developments in past decades. Thanks to his studies as a civil engineer at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH), his activities as head of R&D in large Swiss companies, and his innovative strength, he has made a name for himself far beyond the country's borders.

The owner Samuel Bregenzer shares his father's vision and continues to run the company in the same spirit. He joined the family business in 2012 and has held the operational management since 2018. Father René continues to provide advice and support to Samuel's young team, including the transfer of know-how to the next generation. He will be at the company's disposal until further notice....

The current team of Ecolite AG consists of engineers, draftsmen and production. We work highly motivated every day to further expand the product and service range in addition to the daily business.

Long before Ecolite AG was founded in 2004, René Bregenzer had already begun to put his ideas for elegant, technical solutions into practice - as a freelance developer and consultant for Werkstätte Liechtblick in Schaffhausen, with whom he still has a close working relationship, he laid the foundation for his broad and deep know-how.

René Bregenzer's long-cherished dream of his own production facility came true at the end of 2011 when he moved into the company building in Wolfhausen. Since then, developments can be accompanied even more closely, production processes can be fine-tuned and products can be tested on site. In cooperation with the Werkstätte Liechtblick as well as our numerous long-standing partners, many nationally known objects could be realized.

Innovation

Ecolite AG will continue to grow in the future and bring new innovations to the market. For this purpose, a new company building was occupied in 2021. This will allow capacities and processing procedures to be even better adapted to customer needs.
