PHOTOVOLTAIC ACTIVE FACADES

Time does not stand still. And neither do we.

In the age of global warming and shortages of raw materials, new and innovative solutions are required. Also in the construction industry. For example, facades no longer only protect, they can also produce electricity ...

Photovoltaic active facades are in vogue. There are various reasons for this. Among other things, electricity generation is more evenly distributed over the year compared to roof systems. In addition, modular surfaces are now available that meet the aesthetic and design requirements of the façade. From a thermal point of view, rear ventilation increases the efficiency of the modules thanks to the constant removal of waste heat, and a substructure free of thermal bridges prevents unnecessary energy flow from outside to inside or vice versa.

In cooperation with partners such as the company Abadis AG, we have developed systems for standing and also for lying elements. The modules have brackets glued to the back, can be folded out during the cabling phase and can be hung and unhung individually even with a joint width of 10 mm. We have already been able to successfully carry out various projects. Since this type of façade is a complex application, we rely on reliable partners - both in the planning phase and in the implementation on site.

Assembly

Picture right: Assembly of a facade element equipped with solar panels. And suddenly the façade is not only a protection but also a supplier of electricity. For the electric car, for example.
