The Challenge

Realization of the clinker facade of Haus Furrer in the multi-layered KIM quarter in Winterthur: Framing of countless clinker fields so that a fine network is created on the curtain wall. To achieve this, a wide variety of connection and termination solutions have to be planned, and the material has to be delivered ready-made at the time of the stage. Added to this is the substructure for the blind box cladding made of sinusoidal sheet panels.

The Ecolite Solution

Construction of a total of seven new profile cross-sections in close cooperation with the customer in order to precisely reflect the wishes of the architectural side. The processing resulting from detailed solutions, such as blind box notches, bevel cuts and miters of each individual profile bar are planned and manufactured to measure. Processing of a total of around 15 km of profile, delivery in approx. 6000 individual parts - piece-precise and on schedule to the construction site.
