The Challenge
The façades of the apartment buildings on the banks of the Reuss consist of horizontal ALUCOBOND strips with wooden formwork in between. The two different cladding materials are not on the same level and each has its own independent substructure. Stainless steel fire protection sheets prevent flashover in the event of a fire.
The Ecolite Solution
The substructure of the timber formwork consists of thermally separated H-brackets and angle profiles. Vertical rear ventilation slats are mounted on top of this. Thermo H-brackets are also used in the area of the parapets, but with a larger template and in a special design: thanks to a higher head with double slots, two angle profiles can be mounted per bracket at the same time. These then support the vertically mounted Omega profiles.
Ecolite Products
These Ecolite products were used:
Thermo H system with standard and special brackets in various depths, OM system in the parapet area as well as stainless steel fire protection plates and welded special brackets made of Omega profile and aluminum base plates in the plinth area. Angle welded brackets in galvanized steel have also been developed for the awnings.
