The Challenge

Very large 3D elements in ALUCOBOND, some of which are manufactured on site. There are limited options for fixing the substructure. Drainage and joint design have to be newly developed. Due to the location, high wind loads occur.

The Ecolite Solution

Substructure made of special, partly welded brackets in connection with T-profiles of large construction depth. Optimisation of the visual design and drainage of the cladding on the mock-up. In situ production of the 3D ALUCOBOND elements with precisely fitting, prefabricated wooden moulds. Transverse bulkheads and longitudinally riveted agraffe profiles also contribute to the secure shaping.
