Thermal and optical renovation of the Bauhaus in Chur. Large-scale ALUCOBOND cassettes and outwardly inclined louvres were coordinated and installed on the front of the building in a constant exchange between the company carrying out the work and Ecolite AG as the substructure supplier.

The new, stove-enamelled slat profiles must be installed in such a way that expansion is possible without constraints. Due to the increased wind load in Chur, the almost 7 m long ALUCOBOND cassettes must be reinforced on the back with stiffening profiles so that the stresses and deformations remain within the permissible range.
