Automated profile storage for the benefit of our customers
An ever wider range of profiles and the need to be able to supply larger quantities of each profile cross-section on time led to the decision in 2015 to invest in a space-saving, automated storage system.
As early as August 2016, the first part of this system, with almost 400 parking spaces on the Werkstätte Liechtblick start operations. The second expansion phase followed in the 3rd quarter of 2018 with a further 300 parking spaces.
It is the largest camp of this kind in Switzerland. The initial phase was correspondingly intensive with clarifications, structural adjustments, temporary bottlenecks and software coordination. These hurdles have all been overcome in the meantime, and the storage system is a source of great pleasure every day - for us, because we can process orders efficiently, and for you, the customer, because we can deliver all standard profile cross-sections in record time.
